Located in south east Galway, Portumna is a town with a long history and a rich and varied heritage. It is an area of outstanding natural beauty, bordering the northern shores of Lough Derg, one of the largest bodies of freshwater in Ireland. Portumna Through the Seasons contains over 100 pages of stunning photography, spanning a period of seven years, from 2017 to 2023. It takes the viewer on a visual journey through the changing seasons, while also providing a record of Portumna’s subtle transformations over the years.
